I have used the 10/22 Backpack stock and it's slick. Using that on a Ruger PCC is an improvement for a get-home bag set-up.

I have the takedown 10/22 on the future purchase list. Maybe soon if I find the one I want.

Only back pack gun I ever had was a Charter Arms AR-7. Same as Henry Survival Rifle. Just a .22 that disassembles and stores in floating stock. Carried it in my back pack on several trips to Alaska. Comes in handy for small game or what have you.

I have been wanting a 10/22 take down for a while but haven't seen the model that I liked. I would also love to get the carbine, that may make me want to get a Glock so I could just deal with the magazines and not have to carry 2 different brands.

If you are referring to the rifle I'm shooting that's a 9mm PCC takedown.
