I'm not too concerned with the protests occurring in the country over the past 10 years - 1 - the current round seems pretty peaceful (agree with them or not) and are realistically filled with boomers ( my age or older); 2 - I'm not planning to head toward ANY protest with the potential for violence, or going to one at night. HOWEVER, I'm not trying to be dismissive if that is one's concern.
If things get really bad and violence heads toward my residence, where weight and size are lesser concerns - I have a few great non-handgun options available.
Now regarding the PDW and sub guns -
I had a Sub 2K 2gen and ready liked it. However, I had other firearms that filled that 9mm PCC niche I was shooting more. I sold the Sub 2k. I've handled a few flux type options and I'm not really into them. I get the concept - maybe just not for me - (yet????)
These are my current most compact 9mm (non-handguns) I own for a Sub gun/PDW and I have the suppressor option on both with a tri-lug mount. AP5-P and a modified Angstadt Arms UDP-9. Both are legal form 1 SBRs and both currently have binary triggers. (Also have an AP5 not pictured.)
(Planning to take the binary trigger out of the UDP-9. I think it is kind of not necessary. I've also got a roller delayed buffer system in it and may go back to regular buffer system. This my next experimental project.)
