Before I retired, my territory went from NorCal to Oregon. My expense account afforded lots of booze before I could no longer drink it. I lived a little ways from Silver Oak in Alexander Valley and drank quite a few Cabs from them. Then lived in Oregon so drank alot of Oregon Pinots too. Pale ales from Sierra Nevada, Red Tail and Heron from Mendocino Brewing were my local favorites. Partial to Guinness and Pilsner Urquell. The hard stuff was Lagavulin and Makers and various Napoleon Cognacs and Armagnacs. Nothing like a good Napoleon and Montevcristo

Man, life is too short for Jose Cuervo ....

I'll admit to being a little bit of a whiskey snob with an uneducated palate, but I don't like tequila...at all. However, I drink it for its edge-dulling effect. Only a shot, rarely two. I have tried higher end stuff, unfortunately it all tastes like crap to me unless it's in a margarita. The husband likes Cuervo so that's what's in the freezer. If it's at room temperature, it makes me gag.

For beer, Einstock or Hoegarden. Then there’s bourbon. I drink just about anything because I like to experience the different flavors. Wellers would be my favorite I think. I hate Jim Bean it’s like cough syrup to me.
