Red Dot Drift?

I don’t know about @SimonRL , but I don’t have time for matches and have to prioritize hunting, hog hunting and getting away to my properties over being gone for matches on top. Wife is about fed up with all my time gone for those other, and shooting with Simon let alone doing matches.
Maybe she's mad that you and Simon go on vacations together? Just a thought. lol

There are not a lot, but to be honest I’m not interested in gun games. I just don’t want to get into the grind of packing my stuff up and going to a match every Saturday.

Just replying to your lament about no run and gun near you. Going to one match doesn't commit you to every Saturday.

I guess I'll take this opportunity to say that I don't think the type of run and gunning you do at these matches is the same as what I do. Granted, unlike most indoor ranges I assume they let you start from a draw.

I'm not saying I think I wouldn't enjoy competitive shooting occasionally, but generally there are way too many people on the range for my comfort.

I am finding it hard to even zero my optic. Still waiting for Springfield to send plate for Mod 3. If I can't get optic to work on that gun to me it's just a paperweight and a waste of money. It will sit in a drawer forever as it will be hard to sell around here at any price. Already having a hard time trying to sell the CC9.

I know you reported on it, but what’s up with the CC9.

I always bench rest my gun when zeroing anything so after having drilled out a bulls eye with a supported fire arm not moving, I know it’s me after that if there is an issue with hitting the target.

Bore sights will get you on paper but you still may have to zero the optic. Try bench resting the pistol make adjustments if needed then shoot as normal. The hex optics system has mixed reviews more negative than positive. Holosun does just fine.
