In the 50's our retail center was the city square. Penney's, Sears, Woolworths, S.S.Kresge (later KMart), etc. There was a corner drugstore with a soda fountain with white coated soda jerks making a real production of serving ice cream treats. I can still taste the ice cream floats.

Why am I awake at this hour?

Thats what I say every morning when I wake up at 3am!

To old for the 3 am wake ups 6 comes early enough. My son gets up at 3 every morning.

We would leave them rolled up for maximum volume. Also would use a hammer rather than a rock.

We replaced Lawn Darts with Cornhole and changed the meaning of the term at the same time

From Wikipedia: Cornhole can refer to two entirely different things: a very popular backyard lawn game or a vulgar (prison) slang term for anal sex (rape)

Is that really any different from breaking a window with a baseball or scratching it when a bike falls on it. Sure its sad that it just came from restoration
