It’s been around a few years and was made because of the popularity of the S&W 610 10mm revolver

The Ruger has several varieties of 10mm GP 100 to include the Wiley Clapp which is a great packing revolver

10mm revolvers are cool, I have a 610, only thing with Ruger is they don’t recommend shooting .40 in them, while the 610 says you can use both.
