Ruger Introduces the Marlin Trapper Model 1894 in 10mm Auto

I personally have no interest in it, but I applaud them for bringing out a companion rifle for the 10 mm hunters. When I was a hunting man, .44 Magnum Smith and Wesson and a .44 Magnum Winchester 94 were a great combination. Even though I never did find the 'perfect' load that worked in both identically, having rifle loads and handgun loads that could cross over was never a serious burden.

My Marlin 1894 "Classic" (see pic above) 44 mag is a nice companion rifle for either my 329PD or Anaconda.

My question is, why do they always have to put the John Wayne lever on every rifle?

Well that's actually only half or a bit less , than a John Wayne / Chuck Conners " Big Loop " .

Other than looking cool , and being popular now , it is plausable for people with XXL hands , wearing bulky gloves .

I'm in, but only if it will also work with .40.

Thankfully I have a plethora of pistols in .40.
