I am with you on that. Looking hard at the CMMG Banshee nowI’m considering purchasing the Ruger LC .45 acp carbine, but will wait if SA has plans on producing one. Let me know if you have any information.

Just asking , why do you like the CMMG over the Ruger?I have one of the CMMG Banshee .45 PCC's with a Sig Romeo MSR optic and, man, what an awesome combination those two make. The Banshee, with extended magazines from SGM, is an effective, accurate and fun to shoot firearm.

I know I prefer the CMMG over the Ruger as I've shot them both. I also wonder what S&W would bring out if they decide to to so.

I had a Kriss .45 for a short time.The Ruger was a good shooter.
After spending some time with both I prefer the controls on the CMMG and it is just a bit shorter than the Ruger making at somewhat more maneuverable in close quarters.
I missed the additional round capacity of the CMMG when firing the Ruger. This is not really a fair comparison as the Ruger owner only had stock magazines and with the SGM magazines I had a lot more rounds to do damage with.
The CMMG was a softer shooter with less muzzle rise allowing a quicker recovery of the sight picture and the ergonomics of the CMMG fit me to a "T".
That's my biased set of opinions in any event. If CMMG hasn't made the Banshee then I would have looked very hard at the Ruger.
The Kriss Vector I owned could not really compete with the CMMG's performance, either. The magazine release location degrades what otherwise would be a very very good, even awesome, firearm.

I had a Kriss .45 for a short time.
It wasn't fitting into the herd so I used it for trade value towards stuff that did.
I e said this before and I’m probably an oddity because everyone has to have Glock or double stack Mags
I wish someone would bring out a 45 carbine that took
1911 single stack mags like the Marlin Camp Carbine. Those were nifty little rifles.
Would go great with my Operator or Colt competition
Hard Pass!You could always get a Hi-Point in 45
