SAINT Victor vs. Steel-Cased Ammo: What Broke?

Won't be running any steel in mine as I only run steel in the Russian rifles. I do have steel I am trying to shoot up in .308 and 7.62x39 from both S&B and Norinco. Shows how little I shoot it. Just something about it makes me want to only shoot in chrome chambered Russian designs. I did run a batch of the .308 in an M1a (before the iron phobia) and I believe it shows in the throat, but not sure as it is the standard barrel. Acquired a 7.62x39 upper for a AR and couldn't bring myself to shooting steel in it. Funny as that was what I bought it for to get rid of the steel, but.
Probably rust away before I shoot it all...

The only steel case i trust running in my ARs is Hornady Steel Match 5.56/.223 , and I've never had an issue.
But, I don't give my rifles a steady diet of it.

Steel cased is reserved exclusively for my AKs, and my CMMG Mutant.

My past experiences with Barnul, Wolf, and a few others made the decision for me.
