I must have been really good, since Santa brought me the best night vision device available. The Nerf Modulus NOD, hands down the ultimate in Night Vision in the class 40.00 and under!
Mounted it on my Springfield 2020 Rinmfire, behind an Aimpoint Comp M3. While not a perfect lined up, the view was not really obstructed. Note to use with a red dot, you need to use the NV mode on the Modulus that turns off the IR leds. Using a separate IR flashlight lights up the night.
(While this post is in jest) what’s not a joke is, it is amazing at what 30.00 can do. How long until we get to a time that 2-300 dollars may not be current Mil-spec but to a point that it becomes mainstream?
