I find myself in a similar situation. I have only found one or two ranges nearby that will allow "tactical" style shooting of shotguns (aka shooting at static targets). I live a very short drive from a number of skeet / trap / sporting clays setups that are open to the public. None of them allow one to bring their own targets or target thrower, you have to pay the "per-target" price for every clay tossed from THEIR equipment, which is rather pricey. I do just enough practice to be able to hit an occasional thrown target.I have loaded 12ga in the past and still have a mec setup.
Around my area there isn't much interest in shotgunning.
As in, I can't even get trapp shooting buddies, well unless I buy all the stuff and then maybe.
I have my own battery operated with wobbler, target thrower.
