Should You Display Your Collectible Firearms?

I daydream about my next house, which will be our "Forever Home". All one level, handicapped accessible, four wheeler from garage to the mailbox, everything. And, which spoils the all one level idea, an actual Man Cave. Concrete room with a bank vault door, surrounded on 3 sides by dirt and concrete. Where my meager collection can all be on the wall. By then I will be down to a real skeleton collection of only the firearms that trigger me (see what I did there?) to remember hunts, places and people long ago. Books will line the walls about firearms and cars and motorcycles. Hell, I may buy a vintage Triumph Bonneville or Norton Commando motorcycle just to look at and remember. Yep, one day I will display those important to me guns. But now, they are in a safe. Booby trapped? I dunno. Screw around and find out.

I don't wear anything with a logo on it in public except my Cabela's hat and even then every so often some wants to ask me about Fishing.

My wife bought this at a Goodwill a couple of years ago. It's a nice hoodie and it's warm but I can't wear it outside of my home without some random stranger trying to talk to me about Alaska or the beer on my shirt. I don't wear it out OF THE APARTMENT any more.

FWIW, I wear that hoodie all the time now. The cattle don't seem to mind

Hi,

I have a sticker on the back of my rig that says If you can read this you're to close. I am going to get one made that says Breeding fees are required.

You responded to an older post of mine in this thread. Full disclosure, at the time I had no bumper stickers on my truck. But after the attempted assassination at Butler I went full MAGA. Everyone knows about my political leanings and NRA membership. Be bold and fear not. Speak the truth in love.

Hi,

I stopped with political stickers after a holes on the left kept keying my car in parking lots 😡

Sorry to hear that. So far I haven't had any issues, even when parking in the big city of this swing state. I've had quite a few citizens, male and female, tell me how much they like my stickers. It restores my faith in mankind.

Thank you for your indulgence,
