Kel-tec made one like that...

No complaints about the one I have.

do think I would want the 22wmr https://www.smith-wesson.com/products/pistols?caliber=22+WMR as if I am going to go with that size and style give me the magnum version

I also like the fact my S&W FPC .22 uses the same magazines as the S&W M&P 22X.

Nice! I’ve been wanting their 22WMR.

that 22 pistol uses the same type rotating barrel of their 5.7x28 doesn't it?

On my radar. If the wife ever shows any interest in shooting then it will be a definite addition.

with s/w having a 5.7x28 it's just another chamber and almost the same mag for the 22mag

I don't know.

I had the M&P22 compact. It was okay but i was not crazy about it. It felt cheap and some of the roll pins would walk out after 50 rounds or so. I ended up selling it.

[TEXASforLIFE]

I don't know.

22mag used the tempo barrel like the 5.7 does, but the 22lr (22x) doesn't.
