Springfield partners with Icarus Precision for Echelon grip modules

Did anyone else see the announcement that Springfield partnered with www.icarusprecision.com to make some killer aftermarket metal Echelon grip modules? Can’t wait since I am in the middle of a Gucci Echelon build now.

While the Echelon is a real nice pistol, its too bad that it wasn't designed to continue the use of 9mm XDm/XDm-E magazines.

Agree. While they stated that LE requested black mags I wish they could have just blackened XD-M mags. Guess there was enough of an internal profile change with the frame design to warrant a total new mag.

Mags = money. There is a strong motive to change it up. XDM mags don't fit in the newest XDM Elite and Springfield doesn't offer conversion kits.
