Springfield Saint Victor AR10 .308 Grouping Issues

I have check every part of the rifle, scope and mount multiple times and my gunsmith has done the same, can’t find anything wrong. I sent the scope back to vortex thinking maybe it was a bad scope. They sent it back and said it passed all their test and functioned exactly as it should.

Barrel is most likely at fault, contact SA customer service.
It happens with all makers

Sent the rifle back to Springfield, they said everything is within their specs and sent a target back with it that’s around a 4-5 moa group at 100 yards. Very disappointed in Springfield and their customer service. I’m a very experienced shooter and I’m sure it’s not me, but for Springfield to say 4-5 moa at 100 yards is acceptable is ridiculous. I’m at my wits end with this thing and very seriously considering selling it for something else.

Yes, I had basically the same experience as you. Groups started spreading back out so I ended up sending it in and it was sent back with basically 3-4 moa groups at 100 yard on the target. The way it was described is that it was designed to be a battle rifle and not a precision rifle so those groups are acceptable in a light weight AR10 platform 🤷🏾‍♂️. I'm currently in the process of changing out the barrel with an 18" BA barrel that provides a "sub MOA" guarantee. Hopefully the new barrel tightens up my groups consistently. It's an awesome looking AR so I decided to try to rebarrel vs selling it. Hopefully you can get yours shooting better.
