stupid USPS once again.

i bought something from a computer place, that i have done business with for years. the part is actually coming from china, where the entire laptop was built....that's so i can get a direct replacement, and not have to mess with the laptops' BIOS

it is the WiFi LAN card

it is "supposed to be here anytime from Jan 8th thru the 11th.....

it WAS HERE in RI at the DC center, like many other times, i have said it is only like 3 miles from my house....

it gets trucked over to the substation like 1/2 mile from my house, where all our mail comes from.

take a look at this sh!t

IT WAS HERE.......BUT THEY SHIPPED IT BACK OUT...!!!!!!!!

i paid like $20 for the shipping, from china to here.......

WTF, they "could have" dropped it off sooner, and actually maybe make a profit on the quickness of the delivery...


but oh noooo..."we are da postal non-service, we gotta be in da fooking red"

Been there done that.
 
My wife , whenever she orders anything, the shipment will languish in Elk Grove for a week then goes "out for delivery " and somehow winds up back in Elk Grove.
We are convinced they go through each package looking for any contraband, being in the people's republic of Illinois after all.

Mine has gone in and out of St. Louis about 4 times while I ordered the same thing go straight through passing the first package. I even asked the teller and she looked at the screen all funny.

yes, if the store(s) online, had a local address, i'd order online, then go pick up, when ready.

but...i do have an update....

they (the USPS just did not update me properly, which is quite annoying, since everything gets scanned into the system...


it actually arrived at about 6:30 last night, at the end of the letter carriers day......not at 3:30 pm in the update.

and our letter carrier is always here by 11:00 am each day......

I call BS !

The Pony Express was a Wells Fargo issue. They used different software that was incompatible with the post office's abbacus, so they never had a contract with them.

And i'm completely not serious.
 
was a time when the USPS was very difficult to get into as far as jobs went.

of course, they hired vets and former Peace Corps Volunteers.

i tried at least 3 times myself, when i was in the garage business and wanted out...

i had to go to a public building they rented out, and took several tests, on how to file letters according to names, addresses, zip codes. then a few other tests, i cannot recall.

i saw all the slobs there taking the same tests........

i call them slobs, well, cuz they were...slobs.

i cannot believe any of them had any intelligence, seriously.

the USPS had long ago become a haven of slovenly fools, deadbeats, lazyassed SOB's that feed off the system.

a good "dogeing" of the USPS is sorely needed, but since it is not a federal entity, but however, i just searched, and it can borrow money from the US Treasury, which in my mind says YES the USPS can be DOGED..........

exactly..i have been told by my current letter carrier, and 2 past ones, that thier supervisor will nearly harress them daily to get the mail out, and do not come back, thinking thier day is done, as they will always be sent back out to cover an absent carrier.

however, try and complain, and those same supervisors will cover for them....

circular file time for sure.

Here your lucky if anybody at the local Post Office is a natural born American, not even supervisors.... Most are Filipino or Mexican
