Suppressor from one PCC to another??? Questions...

Excuse my ignorance on the subject matter, I am kinda new with suppressors.

I have had a TM-Ti-RANT 45-M from AAC on my threaded Sig Sauer MPX and loved it for a long while. Well, I took it off, and it already has the 9mm piston in it, because the MPX is 9mm. And my new Springfield KUNA says it is a threaded barrel. So, all I have to do is remove the muzzle flash from the KUNA, and then just screw the suppressor on? The piston should be the same for both? Are the threaded barrels the same size? is there some type of prep work first besides cleaning the threads?

Thanks for your time.

Threads should be the same, just take the brake off and give it a try. However, you don’t need the piston. The piston is really only needed for a handgun with tilting barrel. I’ve heard that the piston on a fixed barrel firearm could cause a baffle strike. Probably unlikely, but I would get a direct thread mount for your PCCs if I were you. Better yet, get a 3 lug mount for both guns and a 3 lug adapter for the suppressor. Quick and easy transfer between both guns.
