Taurus G3C has a special function

Big concern I have is that removing the safety voids the warranty and trashes the resell value. To me, buying a handgun that has a decocker might be a better option. Less chance of screwing up.
Popular Handguns with a Decocker
Manufacturer & ModelDecocker Type / Operation
Beretta 92FS / 92G / 80XFrame or slide-mounted lever (Type G is decocker-only; Type F integrates safety and decocker)
Beretta PX4 Storm (Type G)Slide-mounted decocker lever that springs back to the fire position
CZ 75 P-01 / CZ P-07 / CZ P-09Frame-mounted decocker (the P-07/P-09 Omega system also allows user-swapping to a manual safety)
Heckler & Koch (HK P30 / HK45 / USP)Rear-mounted decocker button (V3 variants) or combo safety/decocker lever
SIG Sauer P220 / P226 / P229 / P228Frame-mounted decocker lever on the left side with no manual safety
Walther P99Button decocker located at the top of the slide (striker-fired with DA/SA-like function)

If it ain’t broke…..don’t fix it…..

I’d recommend NOT doing this. If you want a DA, buy a darn DA. You screw around with the factory safeties on any firearm for serious work you’re asking for problems imho
The Canik TP9DA and the Walther P99 (AS Model) ,MENTIONED ABOVE, have a flush mounted top release button for a double action striker, so, it's not a bad idea to Load your G3C up this way.

And if you're referring to the safety ? I appreciate the concerns,
But, Taurus makes a Pro model type of the G3C, they manufacture a standard G3C variant without a manual thumb safety (often referred to or sold as the G3C non-manual safety model or the G3C SR.
So grinding down the safety lever in the off position appears to be essentially the same out-come.

go ahead and get involved in some wort of shooting incident...

let us know if the DA's office doesn't find a way to nail you for removing the safety.

further.......a dumb way to carry without using a holster, as the video says....

dumbazzery BS if i ever heard of it....
