Owned a 9mm revolver for awhile, was really fun shooting !! But ... needed moon clips and got to the point that they were to much of a hassle. Back to the 38.

In a SAA clone, clips are not necessary. It headspaces off the case mouth instead of the rim, but beyond that, it’s ejected with the ejector rod…same as a regular SAA.

This gun keeps drawing my attention, and I think that bothers me a little bit. Maybe I feel guilty for even acknowledging a 9mm SA revolver.

As a practical matter, the gun makes sense. I tend to treat fixed-sight, SAA-style revolvers as fun guns. One-hand, snap shooting, plinking type guns. Guns where you simply go blasting.
So the ability to use the (usually) cheapest and most available center fire ammunition for that purpose makes absolute sense.

Then my conscience acts up. I also see SAA-style revolvers as being all about tradition. Nothing about a 9mm SA fits in that box.

I think practicality might win out here. I'm not going to actively seek out one of these, but if I run across one in the used case at a reasonable price, I may have to get it.

I have several Singles in 45lc ,357. Guess if it takes a 9mm to get people interested, then so be it I guess
