The .38/.45 Clerke – A Bizarre 1911 Cartridge

Another odd ball 1911 caliber would be 30 Luger.
Bar-sto makes the barrels. Generally, works with 1911 9mm parts, magazines, ejector. extractor etc.

Fun trivia: .30 Luger bore dimensions are pretty variable. A Swiss Luger was .309", a Swiss P210 was about .3105" and the Bar-Sto barrels are .308".

How about a Colt 1911 in 38 Special full wadcutter only bullets.

Made to compete with the S&W model 52 38 Special Wadcutter target pistol
based on the model 39 9mm

Most people overlook my favorite aspect about bottle neck cartridges...with that shape, the .357 Sig just about HAS to feed. Since reliability is perhaps the number one factor in a defensive firearm, the .357 Sig should be way more popular.

Its 36 caliber not 38 caliber. 38 Special is the diameter of the COMPLETED cartridge case size, not the bore diameter.

The 38 Super (.355) was a find firearm, so much they brought it back.

Another stupid half caliber, you figure after they fail, folks would stop trying this crap.
