Hi,

I feel like this most of the time.

But I enjoy the community and the online personalities. Here's a thought...

I meet regularly with other bass players from all over the country. We have Thursday evening meetings to discuss music, gear, gigs, bad drummers, etc. I have a Zoom account and can host a meeting with very few restrictions. I invite about 25 players every week and about half of them show up regularly. We met through an online forum and during covid we wanted to at least get out of the house virtually. We've been meeting for years.

If anyone is interested, we could plan a virtual get-together, maybe a monthly meeting if the idea is popular. We can dedicate each meeting to one or two topics, or have show-and-tell, maybe someone is well-versed enough to give us a "how-to" on a subject, stuff like that, or just have a stream of consciousness conversation. But you never know where that will end up, especially with this group. :ROFLMAO:

Let me know your thoughts, either here or in a private message. You would have to share an email address with me. I'm retired from 40 years in the IT industry so I know how keep your information safe. I promise not to sell your address and fill your inbox with spam. :p

It won't hurt my feelings if you're not interested, or too shy. ;) I like hanging out here.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Good ideal, but I’m not a zoom person, to old fashioned here, I don’t even FaceTime with family……
