The Glock G26X is Real. The GS 26X is Coming.

The concept of the “Glock 26X” has been around for a while and is a favorite “hack” of the 80 percenters and 3D printing enthusiasts. The issue is that the G43X, while a great gun, is somewhat snappy due to its short grip. Additionally, aftermarket magazines that increase the capacity to 15+1 shots can sometimes compromise performance.

Enter the G26X, which combines the best features of the Glock 43X, 19, and 26 into one ideal EDC handgun.

Lenny and the gang over at the Glock Store are building the loaded (serialized) frame, just add the G26 loaded slide and mags.

All generations of Glock 26, 27, and 33 slides fit and function.

So I’m a Shadow Systems guy myself when it comes to striker fired pistols. They have more of a neutral angle and you can change the backstrap on the MR and DR models, to make it more glockish or 1911ish in grip angle. I have both a CR920 (43X) and MR920 (19). The CR920 is like a 43X and holds 15+1 but takes a proprietary metal magazine. Many have tried with hit and miss results to manufacture 15 round metal magazines for the 43X. I assume the 23X is a 43X/19 hybrid where it will accommodate the 19 mags in a frame similar to the 43X.

Y’all should try a Shadow Systems next time at the local range/gun store just sayin. And yes I think the names goofy but the pistols feel good in the hand and shoot well.
