I put these on my 556 mags to differentiate them from my 300 blackout. Easy to tell the difference when I go to the range but I figured if I’m ever in a situation where I need to grab and go that it would be helpful to have something visual to give me one less thing to think about.

I just use black mags for 5.56 guns which are black
And FDE mags for 300 BO guns, which are sprayed FDE with the Rust-Oleum
