Watching the Pink Panther movie marathon with Peter Sellers. LOVE the scene in "Strikes Again" when he has the "fight" with Kato especially the part when Kato misses with the stick and smashes into the television with it and it blows up. Never gets old.

i used to like Peter Sellers, until i saw the movie on how brutal he was to his wives, and kids.

only 1 story about him, many more. the movie was more than i ever needed to know about that jerk.

I can honestly say iv never watched any of his movies. Same with Jim Carey, for me there is a fine line, between comedy and stupidity.

He's okay in Dr. Strangelove, but definitely not the best or funniest character in that movie IMHO.

Being There was strange and different. Strangelove was great; Sellers played what; three roles in it, the President, the ex Nazi bureaucrat in the wheelchair and the British officer. I liked Slim Pickens and Major Kong the best though

Apparently Sellers and Alice Cooper were good friends. And one of their favorite things to do was to go to really high-end restaurants and start food fights.

The Pink Panther movies were hilarious, and Dr. Strangelove is a masterpiece, imo (he plays 3 different roles in the movie). "I Love You, Alice B. Toklas" was a pretty classic period piece as well.

That character was based on Henry Kissinger, long before most Americans had ever heard of him.
