The Safety Harbor SHTF 50 BMG

USMC6094

Professional
My beast was delivered this afternoon.....

Before anyone gets too uppity, yes, I found a proper use a Thorsdon featureless AR stock. Back story behind this one is that I want nothing to do with a bolt action AR, ala Ruger Precision Rifle. It's on temporarily for "educational " reasons. I still have to torque, and stake the buffer tube castle nut, and fit the buffer tube sleeve.

Anyway, my trucks tail gate is for scale, and the first pictures are "In the Box "

Enjoy Ive had a couple different 50s. The first was a short action (meaning you had to load the round into the bolt, then insert the bolt into the gun). It was a cool "Ive got a 50" rifle but hardly useful for anything tactical. The next was a single shot that sorta looked like a M2 and fired from a tripod. Again sorta cool; but waaaay less portable. I finally broke down and bought a Barrett M107. By far the coolest but I never found a place to stretch its legs, so I put an Eotech on it and mounted it on the pintel in my jeep incase I ever had a run in with a "ghetto technical"

you even are required to have the featureless items on a bolt action for it's ar accessories (stocks, grips, triggers & safeties)?

No, I live in a free state, I went with the Thorsdon because of its "oddity ", and the fact that I didn't want a 50 BMG Ruger Precision Rifle.

I like being the Oddball, there will NOT be another one on the firing line identical to mine.
