The SIg Controversy

Currently have three of them. Compact, M17 and a M18
Got the M18 cheap with a Leopold Delta Point Pro and a TLR 7a for $600 at my LGS, the guy had traded it cuz he was skeer'd of it.

The Sig debacle is more yha “Glock leg” Glocl leg happened whem hamds were on the gun drawing or holstering. There is enough video of Sig 320’s going off completely seated in hoisters with officers simply standing or walking.

But the smooth brain peolme want to relate it to user error. While it seems to have issues duplicating it when they can duplicate the issue I won’t be surprised if it’s not the third country MIN parts thwre is no standard, no lot number to trace which country the parts came from woth the effected guns etc

Where Sig screwed the ooocj (other then the shady used car salesman management style and suspended German prison sentence CEO from SIG) they want to blame users whe more users have Glocks and M&Ps and other striker fired guns in the same brand Safariland homsters and no video of hands off guns desk pop.

But like the folks that cling to the Blackhawk Serpa issues since it worked for them thwre can’t be a problem.

Also at play peolme live conspiracy theories the gun industry didn’t make it up to buy Sig’s cheap and sell anyone more expensive guns, heck before the debacle Sig made a great 440 dollar gun FOR 799 dollars

Bottom line it doesn’t matter which side of the street anyone is on, it doesn’t look like a lot of places that restricted the use of 320’s is easing up. Time will tell though.

I shall eat crow once again. Friend of a friend has a NIB P226 Reserve and is looking to get rid of it. Offered it at an attractive price so I bought it. I really hate myself but it's such a beautiful gun and I didn't buy it from a shop / Sig, so that's how I'm justifying this. 🙃🙃🙃

There is nothing wrong with 22X series Sig’s I have a 226 Legion I carry sometimes and ran a 228 and 220 for several years as a duty gun

Other than the stigma and national programs not allowing it?

Like I said no matter what side of the street anyone is on 310 fokks are not getting int many venues with them and that’s probably not going to change for a long time!

I would agree. I've got a P226 Mk 25, P211 GTO, P365XL, and a slew of MCX's and an MPX. I just stated on this thread a few days ago how I had a hard time supporting Sig because of how they handled the PR for the P320 stuff, and how I passed on a P226 Reserve because of it initially. And now I just got one lol.

P220 Legion DA/SA in 10mm is still on the want list at some point =/
