The Trouble With Ticks

I remember a few yrs ago when we took the grandkids to Mammoth Cave Nat'l Park, and at the entrance to some of the walking trails the park service had posted signs warning about the presence of ticks. We didn't take the grandkids on those particular trails.

I bet chickens would even do the trick. My daughter wants to get them for the eggs. I don't know anything about them, but I know I will be building some sort of coup if this comes about. All I can think of now is how many boots and shoes I am going to have to get for them thanks to @Annihilator

Tick control and chicken eggs. I guess that would be a win/win.
