Thoughts on the Ruger Security-380?

I thought well the LCP2 would be nice in 22. i was wrong. it's a pile of junk, it won't feed for nothing. horrible gun. then a guy told me they made a spring kit to put in it to make it work.
Well for 20 something dollars i tried it, LGS put it in for me and it still don't work. it's better but still a POS. Not just me either i know two other that bought one and they don't work either, '

Gun was to small for my hands.
The gun was reliable but it moved around to much in my hand it was uncontrollable.

I've come close to buying a Taurus 605. I've seen them pop up in gun stores and pawn shops. The ones I've handled have been very impressive. I wouldn't mind having a compact revolver that shot 357 mag or 38 special(even if most of the time I'd shoot 38 special out of it)...

I did like the P90 Ruger, got one off a sheriff’s dept when I worked there, ate every .45acp I fed it, put hundreds of rounds through it, bulky, heavy but was very dependable

Instead of diving back into the .380 world with another ammo type to secure, I'll stick with my Kahr PM9 since it's smaller in all dimensions & lighter although I max out with a 8+1 capacity.
It's my deep-carry piece in summer wear, and a back-up to other pieces with more capability.
It would be nice if other manufacturers would adopt the .30 Super in their micro pistols due to it's near-9mm performance & greater capacity due to the smaller diameter of the rounds. In my area its readily available and priced the same as .380.

If I didn’t have 38 special rounds leftover when I retired my dads 38…
I would have not bought the Taurus.
I’m glad I did.
I also have an LCP II in .380 and love it for what it is.
What .22 ammo have you tried in your LCP II .22? CCI mini mags have always been my go to for .22 needs. I don’t have a 380 but I do wss as my one. I was going to get a Bersa firestorm couple weeks ago but I decided to get the beretta px4 instead they were on sale 100 off plus 75 dollars rebate couldn’t pass that up . But the Bersa is still on my sites probably in a couple months. I would get the Ppk but in California they aren’t available so it’s the Bersa I shot one it’s not bad at all

I've been thinking 327 Mag with 3". Should give a bit more punch than 38spl with much less recoil than 357 mag and with an extra round.I've come close to buying a Taurus 605.
