Was almost going for one, til the Garrison appeared. Will probably end up getting one anyway !
Love that good ol’ Parkerized finish.
My last RIA was parkerized of course - but i was disappointed by the thin (?) coverage - or whatever it was that caused it to not look like my RIA from a few yrs back. The quality didn’t seem up to par. it almost looked hurriedly done.
Yours looks terrific, my only advice is keep a very thin sheen of oil on it

Cool pics all...anyone here prefer the arch on the mil-spec main spring housing over the newer flat housings? I've heard many online say they do NOT like the arched housing, but never anyone say they prefer the arch...just curious
Yes, I know the original Browning design had a flat housing and it was changed to an arch sometime between 1911 and WWII...then the flat one came back...
