Too Much Fun at the Range

Did a trip to the range with @KillerFord1977 to zero in the new Fusion XP Pro and break out the TX22 PDW. KF brought his Legion 226 X5 and a couple of AP5s.

Shot a couple of rounds low with the XP Pro dialed in the dot and got on target, a couple more clicks and then 4 rounds on top of other pretty much dead center. Not bad for first time running the gun. I was extremely impressed with how smooth and flat it shot and suggested that KF to give it a go and it only took one shot to confirm my thoughts. I think some people make this gun thing look way harder than it is.

I’d show you the target after we were done with it, which was the usual fare that we sell @Belt Fed. You know, the one with gaping holes that used to be stick on targets, however we had so much fun doing this with the TX22 PDW that we forgot to take pictures! We eventually managed to direct this buzzsaw accurately on target. It spits out 22 rounds in 2 seconds. It’s the grown up equivalent of chasing your buddies around the street with a Roman candle. Ridiculously entertaining! I immediately went home and ordered a couple of 34 rd stick mags. And I believe KF will now be ordering a chassis for his TX22.

Did you notice the fusion rejecting brass into your optic? This was a common issue when I was researching them.
No. In fact, a lot of the things that people mentioned like a spongy trigger I did not encounter. I put a 10lb recoil spring in it. Lubed it with gun butter and ran 124gr NATO and it ran flawlessly. I drilled out a 4 in target at 15 yards with pretty rapid shots no problem. I would say it is at least as flat a shooter as my GTO and the grip is very comfortable. No hot spots.
