Bought a new Forester after 8 years. Did okay. I did tell the salesman if he had the Fargo Tru-Coat. He didn't get it until I asked him if he'd seen the movie. Then after we signed at the financial manager's desk, he asked "Are you excited?" I replied "No, we're too old to get excited about a new car." He gave us a funny look. As far as I am concerned, most cars became boring in 1973, and they are getting worse by the decade, like many things. I'm a real downer, ain't I?
