I'd prefer a grenade for accuracy and safety as you can keep one hand on the handlebar, pull the pin with your teeth, and you only need to get it in the general vicinity to stop the threat.

You know the other thing that comes to mind with this is, everyone is leaning heavily into the handlebars. Imagine hitting a bump while in that position and going head over heels with a loaded firearm out and pointed down range possibly at someone innocent?

Agreed. But, in another light, what's the one big thing missing hidden behind the laughs of bicycling, rollerblading police officers besides lack of intelligence of those in charge of them for putting them in those odd, strange situations?

The one main thing someone should be aware of while in any potentially dangerous situation? - A stable foundation or footing. Especially with firearms? So much for those thoughts?

Me too, but guess it beats trying to ride a rifle and slinging a bike overhead?
