Traitors

Here is a take action by the GOA regarding the AG results.

Let your senators know how you feel about their votes.

Nice little link to the traitors that too many gun owners believe will save them from the upcoming 2A massacre.

A member who supports these unpatriotic politicians is quoted as saying that this bill would never make the floor of the house so there is no worry.

These brainwashed fools who support these politicians and claim to be patriotic Americans need a psychiatric evaluation.

When these socialist politicians keep threatening to do something and their supporters write it off and say it will never happen tells you alot about their supporters that either a liar or plane crazy, or they have no faith in the ones they supported.

I have zero respect for fools.

I remember a few members saying the background checks are the only one that have a chance. From my memory, it's the licensing, registration, and bans that those members have said won't go anywhere.

I don't recall anyone here saying these bills wouldn't see the house floor. Many, including myself, believe they will die in the senate, but the house is a lost cause for at least the next 2 years.

I think I might have said most of the Biden gun bills won't make it out of committee. I think background checks might have a prayer in the senate but none of the rest of them do.

The only way it has a chance in the senate is if some republicans are willing to sacrifice their careers for it.
Democrats, too. Machin would get voted out if he went for it. The Minnesota senators might have a problem, too. Aside from MSP and Rochester, and even in those cities, people here still like their guns. But there is still a chance. Manchin and at least one republican put a universal background check bill into the process a couple years ago.

That would be Senator Pat Toomey from Pennsylvania. I believe they introduced it at least twice, both times it was defeated. Living in Pa., I've gotten corespondence from Sen. Toomey explaining his reasoning for co-sponsoring the bill with Sen. Manchin. Reasons I respectfully don't agree with.

Living here in the people's republic of Illinois, we've pretty much resigned ourselves to getting bent. We've already got universal background (in a way)
We have to get gov't permission to purchase and possess via FOID cards. We have to voluntarily maintain records of acquisition and disposition of all personally owned firearms for 10 years. We are also forced to run a FOID check through ISP website to verify card validity. ( yeah, that kinda sounds like backsides registration)
Further, I have noticed signs at several locations indicating that you are legally obligated to inform law enforcement of the loss of a weapon in Illinois waterways within 3 days. I guess the state police have taken a serious approach on all those memes.
Kinzinger and the rest of the traitors need to be voted out. These dirtbags need to learn that there are consequences for backstabbing and lying to their constituents. At least we know what to expect from our senators. They're bleeding heart liberals, they can't help themselves. Here's to hoping for a mid-term turnaround.

I grew up on a farm/ranch near Springfield. My Dad said Springfield was where crooked politicians from Chicago came to collect their bribes. Funny thing happened to me with FOID cards. I has one of the first cards at age 16 when they first came out in the 60's. I went into the military, came home on leave from Vietnam, and a buddy invited me to go rabbit hunting. Went into a K-Mart and they would not sell me a box of shotgun shells because my card had expired, even with my military ID. My buddy had to buy me a box of shells so we could hunt and I guess he was committing a crime by doing so. I had been hunting on my own on our farm since I was about 10. When I told my Dad about the shell fiasco, his response was, "Those bastards". Those who don't live in Illinois recognize it is politically divided between everything north of I 80 and the rest of it is mostly conservative.

I had to get an FOID card when I was 18 just to get .22 caliber pellets for my pellet gun.
