Good evening all. My Mom and I were discussing the difference between T2T and WWP, and which one better serves Veterans and their families. I read the issues in 2016 with WWP, but can't find much about them currently. What are your thoughts? Thank you for your input.

I remember awhile back they had a major shakeup with the leadership. There were claims and accusations that they were spending entirely too much on their lavish lifestyle and on corporate perks. I’d stay away from WWP.

T2T was founded by the brother of an NYCFD firefighter that was killed in the World Trade Center on 9/11.

The two organizations are not the same.

Yes, and yes. I did a little research a while back and came to the conclusion that T2T was the way to go. I give them a monthly donation and they send me, along with receipts, newsletters via snail mail and the odd gift (key chain, magnet, and the like). I don't care about that. I care about the work they do, and from what I have been able to find, they do a whole lot of good for the families of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

As a vet, I feel ashamed that we have such programs. Our country should take care of the vets without relying on the citizens and outside organizations to do it.
With that said, T2T seems to be the best program out there. Most of the funds go to the people and not to running the organization.

Yep. WW went from having celebrities doing their commercials to nothing. They were spending the donations on everything but Wounded Warriors
