What was your mil spec sent back for?
The first time was when the front sight came off after about 250 rounds. The second time was for broken extractor #1 after about 1000 rounds. I was going to replace it on my own but SA customer service suggested i send it back so it could be fitted. A few weeks ago the extractor snapped again after about another 600-700 rounds. Rather than sending it back again i bought a Wilson Combat Bullet Proof extractor and installed/fitted it myself along with new recoil spring, firing pin and spring.

More then likely the SA extractors are MIM and not tooled steel, looks like I’ll pick up some parts like the ones you got, thanks Mike!

I may have gotten a “special” one. I haven’t heard many complaints about them here.
You’re the first, on the firing pin, the one you got may not fit, SA uses there own pin which has a smaller diameter then regular 1911 pins, there is a company that has the ones SA uses, here it is

@Annihilator The firing pin and springs are from SA. The extractor is from Wilson.
