I see both sides of the table for the work force. Sadly enough in union jobs I end up taking. I’m usually the one doing a union steward job and not appointed to it.

Yes the workers deserve a good wage if they actually deserve it. I’ve been to non union jobs and always seem to be topping out on the raises which isn’t hard to do.

You're not going to like what I have to say about unions. There was a time when unions were vital to the growth of workers in this country. But in my opinion, they're no longer useful. We have so many labor laws, and lawsuits, that business can't abuse folks like they once did. A union miner relayed to me, that he didn't need the union, as much as the union needed his money.

I have been around unions for 50 plus years, and have seen both sides, but the reality is unions tend to protect poor and mediocre workers and that cripples business. Just my observations.

I agree with this. I’ll be honest that’s what I don’t like about my current job. I’m paying in for people that can’t toe the line as I got the mentality of max raises.
