USPS tracking Sucks😡

Hey y’all,
I have 4 packages in route. All are being handled by the USPS. All have frozen in time. Labels have been created and USPS has picked up the packages. After that there’s no movement being shown on the tracker.
I’ve contacted the companies that I made the purchases from and they all say that they were indeed picked up by USPS.
One told me that USPS is going through updates to the tracking systems and to give it afew days.
I should have spent the extra money and used UPS or FEDEX.
Now I have four packages in limbo. My new IWB Kydex holster and magazine pouch for my Mil-Spec, 4 Chip McCormick 1911 8 round magazines, and a multiple magazine carrier for my range bag.
Anyone else having problems with USPPS?

They're always like that in my experience. Tracking is rarely updated. Many packages will show label creation for days and then suddenly every movement will populate just before it appears on the front porch. I've had packages logged in and out of the same facility multiple times over the course of two or three days before.

Yep. I’m just going to stop using them and start paying the extra money for the convenience and predictability of the other carriers.
This isn’t the first time and I doubt it’ll be the last.

USPS lost a rifle I had shipped 2 years ago. Postal Inspector called in March that it was in Atlanta. Haven’t received it yet, though!

Yes their tracking is pitiful often get multiple changes in delivery dates.

Everybody has horror stories about USPS. That's just how it works.

USPS tracking:
1. We have it.
2. Ain't got a clue.
3. Delivered!
and... if you live in my neighborhood we have 3 street names that start with the letter "W"
wichita, wapiti, whitedove , of course these streets have a house with same street number as mine
i think the developer knew exactly what they were doing to screw with us even after they were gone
routinely we all three get each others mail, packages etc from USPS have no idea why :ROFLMAO:
my new UPS guy is a truck and pistol gear head, so he hits our place on time and we chat for a few minutes about trucks, psitols and range time

Hopefully, number three occurs. In my case,NO. USPSIS was supposed to send it to my local pawn shop. Even though a C&R and I have a C&R license, shipping to me is a no-go. Still not arrived and the R-mail for the postal inspector now does not work. I used to do the BIs on them, and MOST seemed to be good folks, this is a pisser!

I live in an apartment building with two rows of mailboxes. Every so often we will have a sub and it seems to never be the same person. Twice , in the past 12 months , I have had to call my local postmaster to let them know my package showed delivery but I had no package. Postmaster calls mail person , mail person comes back and opens boxes , finds my package and once brought it to me and second time put it in my box.

When I first moved in here the mail was delivered every day at a few minutes either side of 2 PM. Now it is anywhere from Noon till 6:00 PM. Just like a box of chocolates.

Is it me, or does it seem this mostly happens with firearm related purchases?
No I think it happens with everything.
Two years ago we had an Aunt in Montana send a Christmas card to us with a check in it the second weekend of October via Priority Mail(supposed to be 3-5 days).
We received it 7 months later in May.
We have an Amazon distribution center within 1 hour of our home. It’s taken anywhere from 48 hours -two weeks on a range of items.
To be fair they claim to handle approximately 318 million pieces of mail a day.
They still suck.

If someone is using the excuse about a tracking system update then they have been doing that for decades. The USPS tracking system has sucked forever.
