It’s been a great last several hours for our women athletes. With Mikaela winning late yesterday, then the gold for hockey and ice skating. A successful Winter Olympics. Now the men’s hockey team needs to win two more games.

That team has had one hell of a tournament. Outscoring opponents 33-2 and recording 5 consecutive shutouts along the way, including a 5-0 drubbing of the canucks in the group stage. That gold medal game was everything you could ask for. Very well done!!!

The captain Hilary Knight is an absolute unit of a player and holds the record for scoring in women's olympic hockey with 15 goals over 5 olympic appearances. How fitting she scores the game tying goal in the dying minutes of the 3rd with the goalie pulled to force OT.
