WEED

. And since you can buy weed in the store now, why would they war over weed ?
Obviously varies greatly state to state .

But in some states , including mine, it's all the hoops & hassles involved in Legal Weed Industry .

Limited numbers of Licenses for Retail and Grow operations. De Facto requires bribes to state and or local legislators to get one . Extensive regulations and record keeping at every step . Very hefty taxes .

No access to banking or commercial lending. Requires hefty up front capital , and high security expenses .

Bottom line - Legal Weed costs consumers 2 to 10 times as much as " Free Market " . Plus Having to scan DL to just enter a Weed Store .

I my discussions on the topic , l say that Weed should be regulated and taxed on parity with beer . Excess greed of Government, creates operating niche for undocumented free market .

Kind of like , if the legal liquor store sold a six pack of beer for $40 , while it was $10 from the local bootlegger .

Once upon a time I worked undercover drugs for a while, plus did a few tours in Southeast Asia.. I was thoroughly familiar with the smell of burning weed, but that was a lot of years ago.

Recently I caught a whiff of a skunk near a neighbor's place. As a country boy I knowcwhat skunk smells like. Several days in a row. I mentioned it to some younger folks and they laughed, telling me that's weed. No kidding, a variety of weed called skunk, that smells like skunk. Who knew? How things change....

Stuff from the street mixed with fentanyl will likely kill you sooner or later.
I recently had two surgeries this year.
I read the notes on my medical records from the anesthesia usage.
I was a bit shocked to read they used fentanyl and it was in ng's
I learned that fentanyl can be used for real medical usages as well as other narcotics.

I saw part of a video the other day of Trump signing to add THC and psilocybin to change to schedule III to be used as medical usage. When and how this will take effect remains to be seen.

While we all hear about people using these narcotics as entertainment and can be deadly, when used for only medical usage they can be beneficial as well.

The evidence is clear thst weed is an addictive drug and a hallucinogen, with some curative properties. There are legitimate medical uses under controlled circumstances.
How do you rationalize it in the legislature?
Now that they seem to have a DUI-Drugs test for marijuana, I have no problems. From LE experience, pot users think they can get away with driving while high. Evidently, no more. Let the attests begin.,!

Fentanyl is a fantastic analgesic for acute pain. Used it a LOT in the field. Measured in micrograms, administered via slow IV push vs. "slam it in."

25 mcg was a good starting dose. 200 was the most I ever gave, and that was four doses of 50 mcs.

It has been legal. Just need a tax stamp for it. No tax stamp then that’s a no-no
So you are saying all 50 US states cannabis is legal❓

Since cannabis is a schedule I, they cannot use credit cards and all transactions in states where legal however since Trump recently changed cannabis to schedule III, it will soon be able to use credit cards for each state legal transactions.

Dispensaries are an exclusively cash business. In Florida they had to have an armed security officer on site. I trained a number of them for their state firearms license.

Being in pharma, one of the drugs I marketed was hydrocodone. I had a hard time initially with this and considered leaving the job/career early on. After visiting terminal patients and various cancer wards, hospices, I understood the legitimate uses of these powerful drugs. I sold steroids too in the form of anti-inflammatories for asthma use, the treatment of skin conditions and pain. If various cannabis compounds can help with cancer, pain, anxiety, sleep, appetite, depression, post-surgery etc. and can be used in place of highly addictive drugs, I'm all for it. Certain scheduled drugs used correctly can make valuable contributions to improving the quality of life...
