Welcome Message

Howdy folks and glad to meetcha, the Ancient One has arrived! Bad knees, shoulders, ticker, just like my old Ford tractor. A rust bucket perhaps, but I can still kill a gallon paint can at 100 yards with my ,41 magnum. I live in the mid-coastal area of Maine near Bath and Boothbay Harbor on about 100 acres. I no longer hunt but still enjoy shooting. Flintlocks, percussion cappers, modern pistols (wheel guns especially), M1 Garand, M1 carbine, and I am awaiting my brandy new Springfield M1A Loaded dressed in walnut. Wherein lays my question, Does Springfield (or anyone else) make a good quality bipod for my newest toy?
Welcome to the forum from South Texas.

bet your wife thinks your tractor is sexy..???

welcome to the worlds finest old broken down farts gun website.

aging is a biotch, some of us do it well, some of us need repairs every so often.

welcome from another New Englander here in RI
Naah, the ole lady's a city gal, don't know what a tractor is for(getting outta earshot, works for me!). My Grandaddy used to say, " Gettin' old is NOT for the faint of heart!"... or was it fart, oh well, same same I guess.

I have been on the forum for a little while and hopefully I will be able to hang around for awhile. Years ago I was on Facebook for a short time and then I decided it wasn't for me. I have enjoyed the interaction and there's a lot of good information and a lot of smiles and fun. I been a lot of places over time but sometimes I enjoy that song "Hello Darkness" at 85 plus I still get up around 4:30 am to workout then do some writing B4 my wife stirs then the chores begin. I stay up till around 11 pm and once in awhile I indulge in 2 fingers of Travelers whiskey on the rocks then call it a day. I Like the interaction. Every one stay safe.

Travelers ain't bad...try Bulleit 10-year for just $5 more.
Travellers is a blended whiskey with some canadian blended in.
Bulleit is a bourbon and a completely different style.
Bourbons and whiskeys are as varied in taste and style as there are people.
Those two whiskey are not even remotely close in style. Night and day

I do like Buffalo Trace but have been known to drink Tennessee Whiskey when I played 5 card stud at one of the gold card invites but those days are long past and some what blurry 😋
