Going to the gun show that is in town. I'll be sneaking the checkbook out of the house, hoping the wife won't notice. Many gun shops around here charge a 3% fee on using debit/credit cards for gun purchases. Cash and checks are king around here. I just hate writing out checks.

The gun show was a bust. Didn't see any good deals on what I was looking for. The exact pistol I am interested in was there, but at 600 more dollars than the same exact one I could get off Gunbroker. Pay a small shipping fee, plus a $20 transfer fee at my current go to LGS made it a hard pass. Plus my LGS will meet or beat most any gun store in the nation. They just don't have in stock what I am looking for, but can order it and in most cases, have it within three days. I just might make that 30 something mile trip to that gun store in a week or two.

Hi,
I just finished a 2+ mile walk through the neighborhood's nature trail with the fetching Mrs. BassCliff. It's a lovely fall day with sunshine and autumn colors. Later we will travel to a downtown theater to see Leanne Morgan, one of our favorite comedians. < https://www.leannemorgan.com/ > She's a hoot! When we get back, maybe I'll install a new guiderod in my XD45 and take a look at the trigger installation procedure. I don't wanna hork it up. Tomorrow I'll be making a joyful noise in church, playing on the worship team. Blessings to all.
