What are you doing right now??

Hi,

I just found out a minute ago what we thought were stys in my wife’s eye a few weeks ago, weren’t. Now she has sores on her head. Turns out it’s shingles.

As for what I’m doing right now. Nothing fun.

More prayers for a healthy Mrs. BassBob. Has she taken any antiviral injections? They're supposed to help. I'm hoping my vaccination allows me to avoid that pain. I don't take many vaccinations but that seems like a good one. Be blessed.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

The eye thing cleared up a week or so ago. She turned down the antivirals. It’s kinda late for that.

Had my 16th keytruda treatment today, went good, just one more May 27. Saw my oncologist, she is very pleased on how I am doing, scans are clear, will still get scans every 4 months yet, till first of the year, then every 6 months after that, if nothing shows up 2 years from my initial diagnosis, then I beat the cancer. 🤞🤞
Good news. My wife is still fighting Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Was in remission for about eight years came back about 6 months ago. Initially she had weekly chemo sessions now every two months with a pet-scan to check on progress. Hoping and praying it will go back into remission or better yet totally cured.

Sorry to hear that it came back, thoughts and prayers sent, fighting cancer is no fun, it takes a toll on the person and family, you both hang in there!
