Just got done with a little back 40 blasting at my buddy’s.
The 632UC is a keeper; incredibly light recoil, especially when I shot it side by side with his 9mm LCR.

Today, went to do a few things Mom needed done, before I went to my side job.
Mom and, sister went to a meeting with the funeral director to finalize everything before he gets cremated.
Mom got see him one last time before the process begins.
And I'm just sitting here getting numb.....

Well, finished the other half of the garden.
Bella - under a thousand
Weeds - maybe 10 or 12
Those little buggers have roots about a foot and a half long and I unfortunately broke a few off. Got a sunburn on my back to boot.
Just finished supper, so time to clean up and hit the shower. Running late but it’s always hard going to bed early this time of year when it stays light out until after 9PM.

Listening to 'The Ghost' by Phish as I get ready to go out and dig up more of that invasive Chinese wisteria by the roots, then I'll see if the law tractor will fire up so I can ride that around a bit.

Yep, big plans for me today. After my coffee I'm going to vacuum. I'll be resting one more week before starting on the mower. By then the lawn will really need it. I can't do another "no mow May".

I'm not sure how widespread the practice is, but around here "no mow May" is for all the pollinators and other bugs that need the wildflowers and weeds in their ecosystem. There are a few lawns in the neighborhood that get really overgrown this month. My plan is to leave one patch of un-mown lawn on the side of the house for a while. That should help keep the bees happy.

The lawn tractor is DOA, so I am using the push mower to mow my ever shrinking 'lawn'.
A local shop will pick up the tractor tomorrow...
I leave as many flowering plants standing as I possibly can this time of year, but I have to keep some areas cut down because it will choke the mower if the grass get too long and thick.

It's been a very bad couple of days and not just what this weather has been doing to my disabilities/me. And i came into TAL to see what's going on in it. Next i will get back into the internets and see if i can get something from my home-state for a "project" i want to do.... being "so-far" away from my home-state and no easy to do public transportation, just sucks...
