Enjoying a very nice afternoon with the mutt.

We did!

Shoulda named her “Baskin Robbins”, because she’s got 21(plus!) flavors…

Mostly APB/Staffy (not that you would ever tell by looks and/or temperament), but also lab, husky, boxer, beagle, chow, Aussie cattle dog…that’s off the top of my head.

She’s quite the mutt.
she is a looker
the heinz 57 dogs are the best
they have just enough of the good in all the breeds to steal your heart, pillow, shoes, socks, couch and give you the look like you dont feed them at dinner time,

I don't smoke but have the other two letters covered... hangin' up my gun belt and cracking open some apple jack. Not the cereal, either. This is the original that back when George W. was a strapping young Lieutenant, he bought the recipe so he could make this at home. It has less apple flavor than an ale like Redd's, but this stuff goes down smooth. Gonna kick back & watch a movie...

Made decision to start saving up for a SA 1911 TRP AOS 4.25" CC 45ACP in Coyote brown. Hopefully by the time I get the dough saved prices will have come down some. Love 45 ACP at 26 ounces could be my ideal EDC pistol. Right now I'm thinking a Holosun EPS 6moa green dot optic.

I have to tear myself away from my wood shop for a while today. Mrs Greener and I are heading to our favorite Thai restaurant in Pensacola for lunch today to celebrate our anniversary (which is actually Saturday). We are celebrating 46 years together. 4 kids and 9 grandkids, three great Labrador Retrievers, three horses, two goats, countless cats along the way, not to mention 42 years as a LEO and 6 years of deployments with the reserve after 9/11. How she has put up with me for that long is a study in tolerance, patience, and a great sense of humor. She qualifies for sainthood. I am a lucky guy.
