What are you doing right now??

Went to bed early and slept later than I like...I guess I needed it. Went to bed with the windows open to catch the breeze through the house...then raced around the house like a madwoman at 2:15AM to close them all when a thunderstorm went through. If it ever stops raining and warms up around here, the mosquitoes will be horrendous. The ditches along the backroads are full and there is standing water in low areas. I was weeding the garden after work yesterday and it's a good thing it's raised because it's too wet to walk in. Guess I won't be in there this weekend..

Anyway, I digress. It's wet so I think I'll go into town and pick up a few things for my lunches next week, and then gas up my ride. The husband is out of town working this weekend, so it's up to me to entertain myself (which I do most of the time anyway :cool:). There's enough to do around here to keep me out of trouble, it's just a matter of whether or not I want to stay out of trouble ;). JK of course...

have to try to finish floor today, removed the old stairs, filled the HOLE and
....oh me oh my
only about 9 rows left...but they will fight me to the end... well knees and shoulder will
:ROFLMAO: trying to get done before the 10th surgery day

I really wanted to go to the gun show this weekend, but it is for the best that I do not. All that walking would have meant that I probably would have needed my walker (just three weeks post total knee replacement surgery), and it would have been a nightmare trying to navigate down all the rows of tables pushing a walker through all those people. And gun shows get pretty packed around here. I'll catch next month's gun show. Not looking for anything in particular, I just like window shopping and finger fornicating firearms.
 
Brakes on my sister in law's Jeep. Her husband died a few months back so I get to take over her honey do list. By the way, in case any of you has to do rear brakes on a newer Jeep, you'll need to go into the computer and disengage the electronic parking brake to get the rear brake cylinders to retract. :rolleyes:

Then I designed and welded up some new target stands for the range. These are really cool ones but I have no doubt someone will shoot them to pieces before I can get back up there.

tomorrow the banisters go back up so dogs dont try to fly
closet behind gets done, and then the days of TRIM installation
getting the floor down is a huge foot forward, the last row took a bit of measure 3 times and many razor blades, stuff is to thick for a guillotine cutter so its a razor or jig saw and jig saw makes one heck of a mess
the wood in the other room is all rubbed down over the stain with BEES wax, then buffed with a car buffer, three coats
makes wood soft, and nothing sticks to it, tape, finger prints nothing
and with temp and humidity changes the ceiling changes shades slightly
mrs boatr did a great job sanding it and staining so i could wax on wax off it all
