Well, the window held. We had straight line winds and hail.

Went out with the neighbor and checked the side of the house. No damage (good, because dealing with insurance is a nightmare).
Then the sun comes out like nothing happened.

Even nature has to sneeze once in a while and afterwards is like nothing ever happened, just like humans do.
 
Hi,

Rise and shine, and give God the glory!

I think I'll take Mrs. BassCliff out for lunch today after church. Then I'll give my little pooch a bath.

Just returned from emergency vet visit for our Beagle, Maggie Marie. Heard her squealing in our backyard she was dragging her right rear leg in a lot of pain. Vet determined she had bad muscle strain gave her a shot of morphine, inflammation and pain meds. $450.00 for the emergency care, wow.

Glad she’s ok, vet bills are just about as high as doctors bills anymore

It was. I was afraid my west transom would break with the hail. I don't trust its integrity after the last hailstorm we had. We are getting it replaced soon (not soon enough for me).
this is a pic of the straight-line winds just as I was headed to the basement. It was hammering the west side of the house.

I'd have screaming for auntie em while that was going on! Scary. Hope all was well afterward.

good you have a emergency vet near by
now she gets more hold me time and gives you the sad eyes fro treats :love: :cry:
