Im surprised at that. Nittos usually do better. Ive had a bunch of different mud tires and never had the issue you describe. I must have been lucky in my choices.

I run Nitto Ridge Grappler 33 x 12.5 on my 2020 RAM1500 crew cab 4x4 on my third set, 55,000 + trouble free miles from each set. Love me some NITTO.

I wish they still made the Goodyear Xtra grip Hi Miler. Longest tread life of any mud tire going and had fantastic grip on all surfaces. I ran the 12:00 - 16.5 size This is the tread pattern --> https://www.goodyear.com.my/tyres/custom-xtra-grip-hi-miler
