that face can melt a heartTrying to calm the dog down again after thunder showers. This has become a real problem for her. Perscriptions has not helped nor has any, I mean any device to help her. I have spent thousands and now her heath is being affected as she is aways scared and nervous. I am sure her stomach issues are because of all the stress she gives herself. I am seriously thinking of putting her asleep because of this. I just don't know what to do or help her anymore but I know it just can't keep going on. Going to have the conversation with the wife--not looking to that either. This is going to be a terrible decision.View attachment 88518
Thanks, I think she is beautiful. The last 8 years have been great with her and I have spent everyday with her. We go on long walks, go for rides and I include her in everything we do. The vet also thought she had Cushings and after spending a small fortune on her it was found she didn't have it. As she has gotten older loud noises really bother her and I feel she stresses herself over it and this is why she has been having bowel problems. I hope this problem goes away as most of the time we don't get a lot of storms here but we have about one more month of possible stormy weather. I just hope we can get thru it. I know it sounds crazy but this dog means the world to me and I don't want to let her go. I pray overnight that she can adjust for this for a few more weeks. Thanks for answering the post and caring. Johnthat face can melt a heart
our older 13 yr old pup is managing the cushings great one week, then bam something gets her and spots of fur fall out.
its hard to know or think its time to let them go
Just let them know what's going on and see if they can match it. If not move on. Life is short.Trying to figure out a way to politely turn in my notice at work. I start a new job in 3 weeks. $5/hour raise + special deal on benefits.

this day in age of burning bridgesTrying to figure out a way to politely turn in my notice at work. I start a new job in 3 weeks. $5/hour raise + special deal on benefits.
Yes have tried that. Diffusers in her room and special collars that let out a scent. Also classical music when storms are approaching on here radio. She also has her own tv in her room to hide the noise from thundermay already have,
but have you tried a tight baby t shirt on her during the storms?
the pressures dropping get my bull dog wound up, so she gets t shirt or more couch time with me, which results in a nap
for me
I pray she gets better, she's a beautiful dog. i had to put mine down last year. hardest thing i ever had to do and still miss her.Trying to calm the dog down again after thunder showers. Always good to leave people well. Thank for opportunity and all that you’ve learned/experienced, but you have an opportunity that is the next stop on your journey. A new challenge you want to experience.Trying to figure out a way to politely turn in my notice at work. I start a new job in 3 weeks. $5/hour raise + special deal on benefits.
I dont play that game. Once I turn in my notice, all negotiations are over. My take on that is, if i am worth that to stay, i should have been worth that already.Just let them know what's going on and see if they can match it. If not move on. Life is short.
I like that and will use it almost verbatum.Always good to leave people well. Thank for opportunity and all that you’ve learned/experienced, but you have an opportunity that is the next stop on your journey. A new challenge you want to experience.
Used that when i left company i was with 20 years….was completely BS but industry I’m in is very small so saying “you F heads are destroying an organization i helped build and i don’t want to get locked up for taking you out” probably wouldn’t have gone well.
