oh and it was HOT here yesterday
but house cooled down to 69 overnight so we slept GREAT

Did some catching up in TAL and when that's done i will utoob 2A things if any new videos are up. And then watch some Monk episodes... the wifi connection has been good this morning...

Plans for a range day this weekend but the storm around us is predicted to be flashy ones and started last night... i'm not against doing things in a storm but seeing someone get hit by lightning 50' from us several moons ago reminds us that grumbly storms are dangerous even when you do the right things...

Didn’t make it to the range yesterday, but I decided to brave the smoke and go out today.

Thanks BET7, couldn't figure out how to send Sig email to the forum.
No problem RC.
At the bottom of this email is a link that says "View Email in Browser" (or words to that effect). I clicked on that to get it as a webpage (which does NOT include any personal info like your email address etc). I then selected the URL address in the address field of the browser and copy it. Then I paste it in a post on the SA forum and preview the post (top right box with page with magnifier icon on the post control functions line). I then click on the link to launch the webpage to ensure it will launch correctly for other forum members to read, and that's it.

It's been just a couple days short of two months since I've driven the Old Planet Killer. Parked her just before my knee surgery since I knew I wouldn't be physically able to climb up inside the cab. Well, today was the day to try it. I might have looked like a monkey screwing a goat, but I was able to climb up and in the old gal! She fired right up, and I took her on a 30 plus mile drive to burn off the cobwebs. Now I'll be alternating between The Planet Killer and The Hoopty (the wife's old car) for trips to town.
