What are you doing right now??

Finished my coffee for the morning and heading out to the yard. Have to water the 3 Crape Myrtles and the 3 Live Oaks I planted earlier this spring. It's supposed to only hit 100 degrees this afternoon, so I want to get the watering done before then. I water these trees once a week and will do so until they are well established. Dragging around a couple hundred feet of hose is no fun in 100-degree heat. I also lug along a lawn chair to sit in, as I water each tree for about 10 minutes each.

Had a good day at the range yesterday. Got the SA Rimfire’s dialed in, easily shooting 1” groups. Triggertech set at 1.5#. Shoots like a dream now. On the 9mm from 5’, we are routinely shooting .98’s on the one ups and 1.20’s on the doubles. Wife coming along post cancer and beating me by tenths of a second. Love that girl!
Correction 5 yards lol

finding money in my pockets....??

like WTF

i went shopping at 3 stores earlier today.

i put bills and change into 1 stinking pocket, and the receipts in another.

got up after my nap, and felt my pants pocket for a kleenix.

money came out.....

then i go to update my wallet by putting away the debit card, and that money found.

as i go to get my cell phone out of my shirt pocket, more green bills there...

like WTF...who's clothes do i have on..??

Probably shouldn't tell it got up three times to go pee forgot why I got up. Yes, I did finally pee.

Almost a year ago when I had my first total knee replacement surgery, I started using one of these because it was so hard to get out of bed and walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. My wife is furious with me for still using it. I just hate having to get up in the middle of the night to pee. She REALLY gets mad when I forget to empty it right away in the morning. lol

The back of my M2 ( it’s a utility body) has a urinal in it. I made it from a leak soap bottle, a 1”-1/2” bell reducer, a 1/2” service head adaptor and about 6’ of 1/2” poly gas line. It drains under the truck and plastic, scent neutralizing urinal inserts fit in it.

We just got back from the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, MN. It takes place every year on the Labor Day weekend. Got back right before the rains hit. Wasn't supposed to rain today but what they say about the weather around here is...if you don't like the weather, wait a minute.
Anyway, while we were there it was sunny with very little wind. We usually go on the Labor Day Monday, but this year we went earlier, and I am really glad we did. It's the first time I got to see the big steam shovels operate. It was really cool to see!

Sorry for taking up so much room on this thread, pictures don't do them justice either. We were walking down the parade lineup and this guy pulled up.

There was a guy and his wife on an army jeep with a 50 cal cannon on the back. Missed my chance for a pic of him.
Then there was the train 😊

And the blacksmith shop...

Okay. I'm done. I suppose I should have posted a thread, sorry. But that's what we did this afternoon before the torrential rains hit. The husband wants to have a fire tonight, but the wood is pretty wet. We'll see...
